Today cell phones are a big part of most peoples live in the world today. But is it more positively or negatively affecting our lives? Cell phones and social media can help us connect to others around the world if we wanted to, and create great relationships with people that we would have probably had never met if it weren't for cell phones or social media. But recently our phones have gotten so advanced that there are many apps for different things such as watching tv on your phone or social media, for example, snapchat and Instagram.
The media influences our lives to the point where if kids see something on tv or something such as youtube they think it is ok for them to do because someone else did it as well. Parents are having to restrict their kids from watching certain things online that millions of people have access to such as Jake Paul vlogs. Jake Paul is a very bad influence on kids, he treats others with no respect and he is not aware of how his actions might hurt other people. No one should have the access to be that exposed online if they are going to teach kids to disrespect adults or anyone for that matter.
Due to people like Jake Paul who influence kids to disrespect people, our world has had more problems with things such as sexual assault. Boys are being taught by the media that they should judge women and girls by the pictures they see in magazines because that is what a “perfect” person looks like. We have to teach young boys and all children that they should not judge people based on nonrealistic people from the internet, or let alone judge anyone because of what they look like. All people are great and perfect in their own ways.
